Music and movement workshops for 5-7yrs are fun and involve singing, playing un-tuned and tuned percussion instruments and using puppets and interesting props.  Children will learn rhythm, timing and listening skills and gain knowledge in basic music theory.  Maybe your child loves music, or  maybe you would like your child to gain some music knowledge. These workshops are a good introduction to basic music skills and a good base before your child learns to play an instrument.

Song/Music writing and recording worshops for 7yrs+ are an enjoyable, modern way for children to enjoy music and have their very own song or piece of music on CD to take home.  Children will learn how to craft a song or piece of music, and depending on age can include learning about all aspects including writing lyrics, melodies, chords and beats and also the recording process.  Maybe your child plays an instrument or loves writing poems/lyrics, or maybe your child has no musical experience but just loves music. This activity can work as a 'team' effort creating  songs together using each individuals strengths.

 Recording workshops for any age.  The Musical Farmhouse can record children singing any songs from Nursery Rhymes to Pop Songs.  Finsihed songs are mastered to a CD printed with photos and text of your choice.
